St. Patrick's Day

Good morning everyone!

Welcome to my stop on the St. Patrick’s Day Blog Hop!  Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh! I’m stop #98 and proud to join so may great authors and bloggers.

Below this post is how to win . . . so, please read to the end.

St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland, at least according to legend, but what he really did was eliminate a lot of the old Pagan faiths by introducing Christianity. Many Pagans and Wiccans quietly protest St. Patrick by wearing a serpent pin or shirt on St. Patrick’s Day. As an openly Wiccan woman I proudly wear my snake.

Do not mistake my pride as discrimination though. I also wear my green and even have a Guinness Stout to celebrate with friends and loved ones. But, for me the day is about pride in my heritage, not in any one faith. Had to give up the corned beef and cabbage (vegetarian), but I’m sure one of you lovelies will eat some for me.

What do you do for St. Patrick’s Day?

A part of the blog hop, all you need to do to enter is comment on this post and sign up to follow my blog with Feedburner (RSS or Email – both are to the right also). When you do, your are entered to win a eBook 2-pack of the House Millar series – your choice of formats.

You’ll also be entered to win 1 of 2 GRAND PRIZES:

  1. Winner’s Choice of a Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet
  2. Winner’s Choice of a $90 Gift Card from Amazon or B&N

So leave a comment and sign up for my RSS or Email. Then, go to the other 120 authors and do the same there! Each blog has a giveaway and is part of the GRAND PRIZE. You can enter on each post and have your name in the pot a total of 122 times.

Contest ends at 11:59 PM EST

Anya Millar had no memory of her life or an instruction manual on how to navigate the insane world of humans, biting, and reality. Instead, Anya has had to learn to navigate the world of love, life, and sanity while avoiding those that would see her dead or enslaved.

This is the ongoing journey of Anya and Nicholas, human loving vampires and the human they love, Declán. What makes it all more complicated is that they are abominations in their own world and Declán is a natural born vampire hunter called a Guardian.

Anya must come to terms with who she is and her missing past, Nicholas must win back the object of his eternal love while dealing with new cravings in his silent heart, and Declán must learn to destroy the very creatures that he has unequivocally given his heart and blood.

How many ways can a hearts true love be shared? After poisoning, near death attacks, consummated passions, and possible insanity visit Anya, Nicholas, and Declán they embark on their future. Or at least they try to. Jealousy can be a pain, in more ways than one.

Can Anya protect her lovers, find peace within herself, and lead the House Millar? With her loves and guards, Nicholas and Declán, she sets out to do just that. If only life, eternal life, were that easy.

Come take a walk with our loving family and witness the strange turns and twists as life, love, and passions collide with greed, politics, and evil.

I will wear green & my shamrock pin. Tonight, I made corned beef reubens for dinner. I might have a beer…but it won’t be green. It will be amber.

  7. Hi, I followed you over from our mutual connection at Book Blog. I’m a new member and saw your note there. Your book covers are gorgeous, and the books sound very intriguing. Good enough to win and review in my opinion! Love your website, as well. I know hosting and having a blog hop such as this is lots of work, and I commend you for it. I hardly ever do this for my blog…so much time and effort. I’m a new network follower, and wish you all the best with your books. Oh, and what I do for St. Patrick’s Day is think of my step-son who loves the Day. I was widowed, and so was his dad. We met, married and put our 5 children together. We raised them as a happy bunch and they are very close today. Jon always claimed St. Pat’s as his favorite holiday. All of the family think of him lovingly on “his” day. :] Come visit me when you get a chance!!
