This week I’m doing Teasers from part of this weeks Reviews!
I endeavor to focus on the larger problem. Thoughts skitter through my mind like mice avoiding a cat.
Removing a substance . . . isolating an infection, banishing, rebuking, exorcizing . . . I struggle to pin down a solution to the AV. It needs to address magic. It’s gotta be comprehensive of the situation. What I really need is a pen and some paper to help get me organized . . .
“To keep my spells from being a bust,
A pen and paper are a definite must.”
Prophecy of the Flame by Lynn Hardy [pp. 33]
There had been to way to recover after Aidan found my romance novel collection. His slight grin reminded me until he left, as if mocking my touch-cop disguise. But it wasn’t a persona, dammit. I’d show him I was more than capable.
Banshee Charmer by Tiffany Allee [pp. 14]
“Disrupter spell?” Drew asked mentally. “How did you manage that drunk?”
“Easily,” Jerome said with some smugness in his mind-voice. “I didn‟t drink any alcohol tonight. Mike taught me a spell to turn alcohol into water, and he helped me work on doing spells without saying them out loud.”
Witch Hunt by Nick Chivers [pp. 42]
